Customers having 3G compatible handsets can check by enabling 3G (WCDMA) mode on their smartphones. Once you have started your Ufone 3G trial, Ufone will send you a notification about the expiry of 3G trial. If the customer is satisfied with the services, they can use 3G services according to the usual tariff of Ufone.

Ufone has been expanding its 3G coverage area quite quickly as compared to its counterparts as it has already covered the following 16 cities.

Charsadda, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Haripur, Hangu, Islamabad, Karachi, Kohat, Lahore, Mardan, Mansehra, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sialkot

Ufone has offered a variety of packages tailored to suit the needs of almost every walk of life, but it has been a fact that majority packages of Ufone have speed restrictions. When it comes to downloading, Ufone normally provides 60-70 kb/sec speed throttle while at the same time Zong, Telenor and Mobilink are offering very fast 3G speeds that sometimes cross 600 kb/sec throttle.

Anyway those customers having dual SIM mobile phones are more likely to make very good use of 3G in Pakistan as they can switch services according to their requirements.
