With technological advancement, the way and types of movies has also changed. Now latest technology and graphics are part of every new movie and those who don’t use technological advancements in their movies are lagging behind. Film world has moved from 2D to 3D and now to IMAX. Films are now made in a way that viewer feels to be part of the movie.
Few days back I watched Guardian of Galaxy on Imax Cinestar Lahore and it was a wonderful experience to watch movie on Imax. As we know that Pakistan film industry is reviving and new talent is coming up with some extra ordinary work. Every producer and director is trying to come up with something special. The success of war has given message to many producers and directors that if you make a quality movie people will come to watch it and appreciate it.
The success of Burka Avenger has really motivated the animation specialist in Pakistan to come up with some good work in this regard SOC films has are coming up with their first project and Pakistan first ever 3D animated movie. The name of the movie is 3 Bahadur, the movie is its production phase and is scheduled to be released in 2015 summer. 3 Bahadur will be in Urdu language. Waadi animations is producing and making this movie.
The Chief Execuitive Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy of Waadi animations said while giving interview that “We have such a talented group of animators in Pakistan. I am excited to share their creativity with the rest of the world,” She further said that “This partnership will allow us to create animated super heroes and heroines that will make us laugh and cry and, most importantly, entertain. We all have an inner child and we will attempt to nurture the imagination of that child at Waadi Animations.” We wish Waadi animations best of luck for their first mega project 3 Bahadur.
