Shaista Lodhi announced her second marriage on Twitter a couple of days ago. She was in foreign for the last few months after her controversial morning show with Veena Malik and Asad Bashir. She along with Veena and Asad were alleged of blasphemy and all three had to flee Pakistan due to the uproar by people of Pakistan. Despite announcement of her second marriage, she kept the name of her husband a secret.

News sources claim that she has married her cousin Adnan. He is a businessman and residing in South Africa. News sources also claimed that her Nikkah ceremony took place in Karachi and the event was attended by few close friends and relatives.
It is further claimed that her family and parents made this decision for her and she while living in foreign went to South Africa to meet her husband before Nikkah. The claims did not end here but it is added that she will resume her showbiz career very soon and she has already signed contract with Hum TV.
She has been congratulated by many celebrities of Pakistan. Sharmila Farooqi and Shoaib Malik are some of them to name.
