Aunty Pakistan, a twitter account has gotten internet by storm within little time. Aunty takes on misogyny in Pakistan on political , cultural and social fronts. Within just 2 or 3 days, Aunty has attracted above 3500 followers on her Twitter account.
Supposedly, Aunty Pakistan has appeared after Phantom hot debate which started big controversy in Pakistan and celebs turned against each other, specially Mawra Hocane, who submitted few tweets in favour of the film. By taking their names, Aunty Pakistan has shown.
According to Dawn.com, Aunty Pakistan has took out her display image from Shahan Zaidi’s graphic novel Bloody Nasreen. “If gutsy, gun-toting Nasreen will challenge sexist stereotypes of Pakistani ladies by fighting war towards all kinds of bad guys, Aunty may as well be her verbal counterpart” shared a story in Dawn.
Aunty requested for Twitterati of PTI and PMLN to respect both women.
