Babu Baral was one of the renowned comedian actor and king of the stage play of Pakistan. An actor who was recognized as the Sultan of Comedy. Either it is Pakistan or India, he was equally popular in both countries and rest of the world. In fact, Pakistani comedian told the people what is comedy and how to laugh.
Babu Baral was born in 1964 in Fankaron Ki Basti of Gakhar Mandi, Pakistan. His birth name was Ayub Akhtar, however, he got famous and popularity by his stage name Babu Baral. Baral stepped in the acting as a comedian from a stage show in Gujranwala played in 1982.
He was a mimicry expert and could easily sung in the legendary singer’s voices included: Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan. Roshan Aara Begum, Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan, Ustad Amanat ALi Khan, Parveen Sultana, Mehdi Hasan, Ghulam ALi, Muhammad Rafi, Manna Dey, Mukeesh, Masood Rana, mala Begum, Haim Latta, S.D Burman, R.D Bermun, Zubeeda Begum, Lata Mangeshker, Naheed Akhter, Inayat Hussain Bhatti, and many more.
Babu Baral had been suffering from prolonged cancer, hepatitis, and kidney diseases, and was admitted in a private hospital in Lahore. He died at the age of 47 in April 15, 2011, leaving behind two widows, four children (two daughter, and two son).
