Ozair Belal, Microsoft Student Partner from Pakistan and the former student of Pakistan Air Force Karachi Institute of Economic and Technology (PAF-KIET) has secured 2nd position in global ranking of Microsoft Student Partner Insider Ranking.
Ozair Belal is the student partner of Microsoft since 2012. During his three years of experience with Microsoft, Belal has arranged various training workshops and seminar about MS technologies and innovations. For his outstanding performance at Microsoft, he was given free access to many products and programs of Microsoft including Azure access, MSDN Subscription, technical mentorship, technical support and developer devices.
In April 2015, Ozair Belal was selected as MSP Group President for South Regions (Sindh and Baluchistan). He also represented the Pakistan at Microsoft Head Office in MSP Worldwide Summit 2015 on invitation of Microsoft. He was awarded with Raspberry PI Kit from Redmond team to for his performance in technology sector.
The criteria of MSP Insider Ranking is based in the individual MSP performance in sessions, content popularity, presence and impact on social media channels, engagement with others and answers to question, queries and comments.
To increase the awareness of Microsoft product, every year Microsoft selects the students of university and college level from engineering or business institute of higher education. One skilled student is selected from each institution. The benefits of this membership are salaries and availability of software and hardware for promotional and testing purposes.

The rating of MSP members are then based on the technical expertise, involvement in student technical clubs, other leadership roles, active presence on blogs, newsgroups, and social media platforms, connection with new technologies, work for the department, and an outstanding personality and mature attitude.
