Pak Army Chief General Raheel Sharif is on official visit to Saudi Arabia. COAS held meetings with King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naif Abdulaziz Al Saud and Saudi Defence Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The both sides discusses the matters and issues of mutual interest, bilateral defense and security cooperation.
During meeting with Saudi officials, Pak Army Chief assured the protection of Harmain UL Sharifian and said Pakistan will always be on front line in case of threat to scared places. Saudi government in turn assured the full support to Pakistan on international issues.
At the last day of meeting, General Raheel Sharif performed the Umrah.

The Saudi officials lauded at the achievements of Pak Army in on going Operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorism and extremism. In turn, Pak Army Chief also appreciated the role of Saudi government towards Pakistan in cooperation and intelligence sharing against terrorism and extremism.
