Actor -director-host Azfar Ali and Vj-turned actress Naveen Waqar have finally ended their 3-years-old marital relation.
Azfar Ali commented on the scenario before getting hurled into burst of questions, with his statement he cleared that he have finally parted his ways with Naveen Waqar completely. On the other hand he restricted to unveil the reason behind the divorce.
“I have divorced my now ex-wife Naveen Waqar. We’ve been separated since July 2015 and then I filed for divorce which came through in November,” Samaa Chaar host Azfar Ali said.
Azfar Ali holds perspective of telling himself the news about divorce as he thinks the he and hr ex-wife both are public figures, so to get a way from any deliberately fabricated story he found it better to light on the matter himself.
Not to forget that, 3 years-back Azfar married Naveen Waqar, following it her previous wife Salma Azfar who was there with Azfar for 11 years divorced him.
“The news of our marriage was blown way out of proportion and since it eventually became public news and information, I don’t want to keep anybody in the dark now,” said the actor-director.
Azfar famous for Azfar-Mani show also told another reason behind her narrating the whole scenario and commenting over the situation as people of the industry are calling them jointly (Azfar-Naveen) for an interview but he told that now its all all clear and that’s of no use.
“I also chose to do this
[disclose the news]
because a lot of people are calling me and inviting us to their shows for a joint interview. I want everybody to know, once and for all, that we have separated and there is no need for this.”
On the other hand her ex-wife Naveen Waqar has not commented over the situation. Naveen herself is recognizable star who came up in limelight after huge success of drama serial ‘Hamsafar’.
