bank issues the check in Pakistan?

United Bank Limited – UBL issues
local checks to the recipient. This check issued by UBL works
similar to a cashier’s check in the United States and the
full amount of funds are guaranteed with no hidden charges.
This check can be deposited in an account in the name of the
beneficiary with any bank including UBL. Since we always issue
a local check for the recipient’s location, funds are available
in as little as 24 hours from presentment. This check can
also be presented for instant cash payment at the counters
of any of the branches of UBL. Currently the cash payment
limit per transaction is Pak Rupees 100,000.

19. How
soon will my money get to the recipient?

A check is sent to the designated
recipient by courier within as little as 1-2 business days
of receiving your payment in USA.

20. Why
does it take longer for a payment to be received in a recipient’s
account with a bank other than UBL?

Since there is no automated clearing
facility available in Pakistan, UBL can only pay the other
bank through a locally drawn check and it takes an additional
day for the other bank to collect the proceeds of the check.
Another significant factor is delay in communication with
offline branches as most banks do not have a large online
branch network. To avoid delays in processing of credit to
the recipient’s account whenever the recipient has account
with a bank other than UBL, it is very much advisable to send
a check directly to the recipient instead of direct deposit.

is the best time to execute a transaction?

The best time to execute a transaction
is before 6 PM (EST) for Internet Checks and 4 PM (EST)

27. How secure is my registration and login process?

We realize the need to keep your funds secure. That is why all remitters signing up with ClicknRemit have to go through a Sub-Dollar Verification (click to find out more) process and all existing users have to go through a Multi Factor Authentication (click to find out more) process in order to login to their ClicknRemit account. These security measures have been put into place to give you, our users a heightened sense of security throughout the entire remittance process.
Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security feature for customers logging in to Click’n’Remit, that allows users to keep their account secure. This is a three step process that first occurs during the user registration process, after which all users need to go through this in order to sign in to their Click’n’Remit accounts.

  • Step One: CAPTCHA

The first step is a security feature where users are asked to enter a text that appears on their screen as an image of random letters, this is called CAPTCHA. Following that, the new Remitter will receive a confirmation email. This email will contain a link, which will have to be clicked on to enable the new remitter to continue with registration.

This security text appears as an image of random letters that prevents hackers, phishers and other malicious software from attempting to register multiple false entries. The users simply need to enter the exact text that they see on the screen in the space provided.

  • Step Two: Security Questions

The next step will require the remitter to select three security questions. The remitter will chose from a list of questions to answer to help ensure privacy is maintained when logging into ClicknRemit. One of these three questions will then be asked every time the Remitter returns to sign in.

  • Step Three: Visual Confirmation

The final step is visual confirmation of an image. The remitter is asked to type in a note or a phrase regarding an image.

Once all three questions have been entered along with the visual confirmation, the registration will be complete. The Remitter can now successfully log in and use ClicknRemit to remit funds to Pakistan.

Sub-Dollar Verification

Sub-Dollar Verification (SDV) is a process in which a sub dollar amount is credited to your bank account.

Before the SDV process can take place, you need to set up a payment method to be used for your ClicknRemit remittances. This can be done by entering your personal bank account number and your banks routing number. Once this information has been added, you will receive an email containing instructions regarding the SDV process. This new account will remain in a PENDING state until the credit and debit information is verified correctly by you. While the verification process is taking place and your account is in a pending state, you may remain logged into ClicknRemit, and update any other information in your account. Once the verification is completed, you are ready to use ClicknRemit to remit funds to your family and friends in Pakistan.

The SDV process is not in place for credit/debit card transactions.
