We are well known to forget our legends, that’s why we aren’t there for what we deserve. This time we forgot another living legend Matloob ur Rehman,famous as Zakoota Jin, for his character in a popular drama of early 90’s ‘Ainak wala jin’. This drama is also said to be the most popular children drama serial in the Pakistan history.
If matures of today, have some time to look back into their past. They would surely remind of Zakoota Jin, who played a superpower character in the serial. Zakoota’s dialouge “Mujhay Kaam btao, main kya krn, main ks ko khaun” got so famous that till today this slogan is raised by many of the children in their fun time. He’s yelling of ‘Zameena’ in the serial also reached high popularity, because of his high versatility among the industry.
But his serving for the nation wasn’t enough to bring stability in his life. After serving 40 years in the industry and giving us opportunity to laugh, he still roams homeless without the basic facilities.
I know many of you will disagree the statement of serving the nation about Muna Lahori. I strongly condemn them as the nations biggest enemies, as Munna spread whole of his life bringing smiles to the entire nation, setting trend with his extraordinary performances and now when he is of 62, paralysed we aren’t with him in such a difficult time. I will term this as our failure.
Matloob ur Rehman told
“I spent 40 years of my life spreading happiness among the people of my country. But now, in old age, I am living without electricity and gas,”“I request Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif to allot me a home in a residential area, where, at least, I can die in peace and my family can live like human beings.”
According to the sources, Rehman is suffering from partial paralysis from last 2 years and is not able to earn his living.
Raise your voices, for this living legend so he might be able to live his life like a ‘common’ man.
