The news about Momal Sheikh going to make her Bollywood debut with rom-com film ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ made headlines, as this added 1 more in the list of Pakistani actors heading to B-town.
Finally, the trailer of multi-cast film is out, and Javed Sheikh’s daughter has nothing much to do in it.
Many of the young Pakistani actors have tried their luck cross borders, but Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan were the stars to grab the limelight.
Earlier reports told Javed Sheikh himself will also be starring in the film, but as the trailer suggests he is not part of this film.
‘Cocktail’ actress Diana Penty, will be marking her comeback with this film as she vanished from the Bollywood screens after her debut film in 2012.
“I am blessed to be getting a good story, good role, a good director and producer. Everything fell in place and I just couldn’t have asked for anything better than this to enter Bollywood.” told Momal Sheikh talking about her decision of opting this film to open her B-Town career.
At the same time she also opened up that in past she has also got many others offers from the B-town but things didn’t worked rightly, “I had got offer for a film with John Abraham, it was a sequel… Welcome Back and there was also a Punjabi film with Jimmy Shergill. There was also offer that came from A R Rahman’s company. But things did not work out so I couldn’t be part of these films,”
