According to recent media reports, main routes to Islamabad have been sealed. After threating the Federal Government to lock down Capital by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, the PTI workers who were holding meetings in various parts to finalize the arrangements were attacked by the police.
After the tension creates by police officials, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has announced the protest across the country due to which PTI supporters started a protest at various parts of Islamabad. Now some parts of Islamabad have been containerized. No more entrance to Islamabad, however, those living in Islamabad can leave Islamabad.
According to media reports, Islamabad has been sealed from Faiz Abad, Kashmir Highway, Golra Mor, Karal Chowk, Kashmir Highway and Islamabad Express Highway. According to sources, some universities have also extended the notice to students as well that the institute will remain close from tomorrow and those living in universities’ hostels must leave the hostel by afternoon till the further instructions.
Federal Government has already imposed the section 144 in twin cities for two months. Talking to the media Deputy Commissioner Mushtaq Ahmad said, “Outlawed gatherings of more than five people, the display of firearms by anyone other than security forces and the use of loudspeakers in public for two months, according to orders issued by his office.”
