Over the years Pakistan is well known for generating some superb bowlers to the international cricket. The other thing about the Pakistan’s fast bowlers is that they just take age as a number. There are many set examples for the aforementioned statement, as Wasim Akram and Shoiab Akhtar who were away from the cricket from many years even bowled greatly in the Cricket All-Stars series. And here is another example, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan participating in Master Champions League with his consistent form throughout the tournament and especially the magnificent spell in final match of the event lead his team to the event win.
Naved-ul-Hasan, who have played his last international ODI in 2010 proved his class in the 20-20 cricketing event of the retired stars of International Cricket.
37-years old medium fast bowler was part of the Gemini Arabians, which was lead by the Virender Sehwag. The event headed from 28 Jan to 13 Feb, in which the Arabians ended as unbeatable side and champion of the tournament.
Gemini Arabians were studded with some greats of international cricket, most prominently Sehwag and Sangakkara. But still Pakistani all rounder, Naved-ul-Hasan was able to star as his hat trick in the final match and added some quick runs in semi final which lead the side to winning the event.
The final match of the event was a low scoring match and it was looking that Leo Lions lead by Brian Lara will be chasing it with ease but superb spell from Hasan fainted all such chances.
Pakistani medium fast bowler took 4 wickets in 4 over after giving total of 9 runs including a hat trick, he was also called Man of the Match for his classical spell.
