The heatwave has turned out to be serious threat against Karachiites and people of the adjoining areas, although the temperature has rose high nationwide, but the highest temperature recorded so far is of Larkana 51 Degree Celsius.
Keeping all this in view, Sindh government has announced the holidays weeks before when they were being expected. The move was being upheld by the PPP-led Sindh government in wake of the high temperature across the province.
The Sindh Education Department on Thursday announced the summer vacations for the educational institutes of the province. Under the announcement being taken place today all the educational institutes of the province will remain closed from May 19 to July 25.
The notification issued will be applicable on both public and private sector school and collages and those who’ll not be following the instructions would be treated as per law.
It will be relevant to mention here that at first it was expected that Summer Vacations will be initiated from early June, but weeks before the announcement was made by the Sindh Government due to the heatwave throughout the province.
So far no other province have announced the Summer vacations 2016, although sources claim that vacations by other provinces will also be allowed soon.
