Google has released its Google Trends that reveals what was being searched most by the internet users across the globe. Google Trends displays the data of individual country and what is being preferred by the users of that country.
According to the Google Trends in Pakistan for the year 2016, Qandeel Baloch, the late social media celebrity and Amjad Sabri, the late qawal, and singer, was the top celebrities in Pakistan that were searched more in Pakistan. In 2016, Pakistan shows interest in five national celebrities and five international celebrities. At the national level, Qandeel Baloch, Amjad Sabri, Abdul Sattar Edhi, Momina Mustehsan and Mumtaz Qadri were top trended celebrities while Donald Trump, Pratyusha Banerjee, Hillary Clinton, Melania Trump and DJ Bravo were the top trended international celebrities.

This year Pakistanis have shown keen interest in sports, especially in cricket. Just like previous year, Big Boss was also the top trend. In Entertainment, there was only one movie Sultan of Salman Khan that earned number nine position in the list of top searches in Google in Pakistan 2016.
