Uber has finally arrived in Pakistan and has officially started its taxi service in Lahore. The official news for the commencement of business in Pakistan has been released from the Newsroom of Uber. Talking over the launch of Uber in Pakistan, the official of Uber Loic Amado says, “We are extremely excited to be here, there is huge potential in this market and people have welcomed us with open arms.”
As Uber has chosen the Lahore to commence its business journey in Pakistan, so currently the Lahoris can enjoy the taxi service of Uber. They were already enthusiastic about Uber and that can be seen from the app store from where thousands of Pakistanis have already uploaded the Uber application. With the passage of time, the Karachittes will be the next in the preference list of Uber to further extend the services. And after that will Islamabad and then the rest of the major cities of Pakistan.
Uber has categorically clear it that all of its drivers will be go through a proper check and balance and have to fulfil all the legal requirements regarding car registration, police verification and driving licenses. A sexual harassment session will also be required to attend by these drivers.

Both cash and credit card payments will be acceptable by the Uber. Plan for the mobile wallets and payments is currently under consideration because a number of cash customers are high in the country.

Currently, UberGo will be on the roads that is equal to Toyota Vitz/Corollas, Honda Civics and Suzuki Swifts. UberBlack, UberLux, UberPool and UberEats are also in the pipeline.
