Iqbal is the biggest name of Pakistan history. A man who is known as Shair-e-Mashriq (Poet of the East), Mufakkir-e-Pakistan (The Thinker of Pakistan), and Hakeem-ul-Ummat (The Sage of the Ummah).
Allama Muhammad Iqbal is known as the inspiration behind Pakistan Movement that resulted in the Independence of Pakistan. His ideas towards prosperous and independent state for the Muslims of Sub-Continent finally lead to a separate state for the Muslims of Hindustan.
His day in Pakistan is celebrated as National Day of Pakistan. Till 2015, every year on his day, November 09, public holiday was announced by the Government of Pakistan.
