Comedy is called to be one of the most difficult professions. Forcing the others to laugh at your jokes is not an easy task. Many people have created their channels over the social media platforms and are making their fans laugh more and more. Among these lots of names, one renowned name is of the Junaid Akram. Junaid Akram who got popularity from his popular phrase Khali Karao is a man who is raising the voice on various social causes in his comedy style. In each of his video, he holds the talk on any general public matter in his funny way and makes the people laugh and get the matter serious as well.
In an interview with Geo TV, when Junaid Akram was asked what is the idea behind all this over social media. He replied that he has been doing comedy for past many years but last year he decided to make open discussion on several public issues and for this, he decided to connect with the audience directly.
In response to a question what are the usual remarks of public on his most of the videos, he replied, “Absolutely, I have faced both religious and political backlash as people in Pakistan easily get offended but I like to question things, and thus I don’t believe in popular opinion.”
He adds, “In modern times it is easy to become famous on social media especially if you use elements of hyper-patriotism but I know what is right and what is wrong.”
Junaid seems hopeless about the government. “We are living in a Mughal era where our priorities are messed up. I’m a person with a limited budget who tried to play his part in spreading educational awareness and promoting reading. My intention was to set an example for those who want to show up with the same intention.”

but not for the real cause.” Junaid added.
Commenting over his pet phrase Khali Karao, he said it is an Arabic term that stands for Rafa Data Karo. “My videos are not scripted as I pour my heart out while making videos. In the beginning, I use this word for once which instantly got famous, and now people are making T-shirts printed with the slogan ’Khalli Karao’,” he said.
