The massive success of Double Decker Sightseeing Buses in Lahore has motivated the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation to launch the same level of entertaining and tourism services in the Twin Cities.
The Twin Cities will get the facility of Sightseeing Double Decker Buses in this week. One of the senior officials of PTDC said that the inauguration ceremony of these tour buses would be held in this week at the Pakistan China Centre.
This new service will let the general public and also the students of schools, colleges and universities to realise the importance of tourism and visit the important places of Twin Cities.
Double Decker Buses Rawalpindi/Islamabad Routes
PTDC has also finalised the routes for these special buses. The route covers the most of the well-known places, picnic and tours points. It covers the following points:
- Rawal Lake
- F-9 Park
- Faisal Mosque
- Islamabad National Zoo
- Children Park
- Lok Virsa
- Ayub National Park
- Taxila Museum
According to sources, these buses will be played on a weekend basis. The concerned department also aims to increase the tour to four days a week subject to the success of the project.
With the launch of this mega Tourism Bus Service in Twin Cities, PTDC aims to promote the tourism in the country. It also plans to increase the number of tourism points in near future as well.
