Facebook Profile Picture Guard: Here’s how you can stop picture theft!

Many of the people still don’t feel themselves save on the social media platforms like Facebook; on eof the main reason is the theft or the misuse of their photos.

Keeping all this in view, Facebook has come up with the latest initiative named Facebook Profile Picture Guard through which you can stop others from getting your photos.

With this initiative, the technology will be at its best as women in South Asia ave faced hundreds of the incidnets of picture theft and misuse.

“We are piloting new tools that give people in India more control over who can download and share their profile pictures. In addition, we’re exploring ways people can more easily add designs to profile pictures, which our research has shown helpful in deterring misuse,” read a statement published by the social media giant.

According to a research conducted in India by Facebook, “some women choose not to share profile pictures that include their faces anywhere on the internet because they’re concerned about what may happen to their photos.”

Initially this service will only be available in India as it is the hub of the picture theft incidents.
