The day of Birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is near, and Federal Government, as usual, has announced public holiday on this Holy Day. According to official notification of Ministry of Interior, “it is notified for general information that 1st December 2017 Friday shall be a public holiday on the occasion of Religious Festival of 12 Rabi ul Awal Eid Milad un Nabi.
The notification for a holiday has already been circulated in all government offices. The day of 12 Rabi ul Awal will dawn with 31 gun salutes in Capital Islamabad and 21 gun salutes in all provincial capitals. National and private TV and media channels will hold special events and ceremonies on this day.
Among a lot of holy dates and festivals of Muslims, the day of 12th Rabi al Awal is also the most popular date as it is the birthday date of the Hazrat Muhammad (Sallal Laho Alayhi Wa Sallam). In most of the Muslim countries, this day is celebrated as a national holiday. Hundreds and thousands of Mawlid celebrations are held each year in most of the Muslim countries and in other countries where there is considerable Muslim population.
The Muslims across the world celebrate the day for observance of the birthday of the Last Messenger of the Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (sallal-laho alayhi wasallam) on Friday 01 December 2017 with all religious zeal and respect.
