After launching the online passport service for Pakistanis living in abroad, Federal Ministry of Interior is all set to take another step towards the online visa service for foreigners. According to Press Information Department of Pakistan, Federal Government will soon launch online application system for issuance of a visa to foreigners.
In a new conference in Islamabad, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has stated, “government has taken bold and concrete steps for transparent processing of visa applications and NADRA has been directed to establish a centralized Data Bank of foreigners for this purpose.”
“Dozens of foreigners were allowed to enter Pakistan without valid documents in the past. He said that any foreigners who come to Pakistan without any valid documents are being sent back by the same airline very next day. Such airlines are also being fined”, he added.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has made it clear that from now, no foreigners would be allowed to enter into Pakistani territory without having any valid document and security clearance. With the launch of new online visa service for the foreigners, Pakistani government wants to make it impossible for the foreigners to check-in in the country without having any official document. By this system, the government also aims to loopholes creates by the previous government by allotting visas to foreigners, especially to the CIA agents, without any scrutiny and check and balance.
