Pakistan got in deep trouble in Australia as they lost 3-0 against the hosts in Test series. The clean sweep left Pakistani cricket fans blazed as the number 1 Test team has now fallen back to 5th rank at ICC test ranking after losing 5 of the Test matches consecutively.
Even the things didn’t change much for Gree Shirts in ODI’s as Pakistan lost the first ODI by a marginal score of 92 against the hosts.
Apart from all that, Pakistan is also in some deep trouble as the skipper Azhar Ali has suffered from the hamstring injury and will not be able to play the next 2 games.
It would be pertinent to mention here that earlier vice-captain Sarfraz Ahmed was also not available for the ODI even after being named for the ODI’s along with the pacer Mohammad Irfan.
In absence of some key players, Mohammad Hafeez will be captaining the Pakistani XI.
