PEEF Education Scholarship 2017-18: Eligibility Criteria and Registration Process

Punjab government has taken many initiatives for the welfare of the students. Among its too many projects for students, two most highlighted are Shahbaz Sharif Merit & Need Based Scholarships and PEEF Punjab Educational Endowment Fund Scholarships.

Recently PEEF has announced its Special Quota Scholarships for the year 2017-18. PEEF Special Quota Scholarships 2017-18 are for the secondary, intermediate and bachelor level students only.

PEEF Scholarships 2017-18 Eligibility Criteria

Scholarships are awarded under following four (4) categories:

• Orphans
• Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4
  (children of both serving and retired Govt. servants are eligible)
• Children belonging to minority religion
• Special Children
• Children of Civilians Martyred in Terrorist Attacks

PEEF Scholarships 2017-18 Registration Process

For Secondary Level Students

• Nominations for Secondary level scholarships are received through the office of Executive District Officer (EDO) Education, District Focal Committee (DFC), Directorate of Special Education and partner institutions.
• The applications received are scrutinized, and eligible students are shortlisted against scholarships allocated for each category
• Eligible students fill and return the scholarship application forms to PEEF.
• All the received forms are scrutinized and verified
• Final category wise lists are prepared for the award of scholarships
• Scholarships are awarded through the respective educational institutions where PEEF scholars are currently enrolled

For Intermediate and Graduation Level Students

• Newspaper advertisement is released, and applications are invited from meritorious students for Intermediate & Graduation level scholarships
• The applications received are scrutinized, and eligible students are shortlisted against scholarships allocated for each category & gender
• Intimation letters & scholarship application forms are sent to the residential addresses of the eligible students
• Eligible students fill in and return the scholarship application forms to PEEF
• All the received forms are scrutinized and verified
• Category & gender wise merit lists are prepared for the award of scholarships
• Scholarships are awarded through the respective educational institutions where PEEF scholars are currently enrolled
