In today match, Islamabad United snatched the third position from Peshawar Zalmi defeating Lahore Qalandars.

The current position of the team is interesting again and resembling what we had seen in PSL 2016 when Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad Board were leading on the points table board. The situation is again in front of us with Gladiators at the top with seven points, United at second position with six points, Zalmi at third slot with five points, Qalandars at four with four position and Kings are in the last with only two points. Kings situation is not well. They seem to be out from the tournament because they have played four matches and won only one match.
The today match will take Kings to four slots if they succeed in defeating Zalmi. Zalmi, on the other hand, can lead to first position replacing Gladiators if they manage to turn the table against Karachi Kings.
