The Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) has announced PEEF or Shahbaz Sharif Merit and Need based scholarship for the year 2017. These scholarships are entirely for those talented students having Pakistani domicile and want to get admitted or have been already admitted in the fall semester 2016-17 in the Master Level/MS/M.Phil study program.
For the information of the students, this scholarship is different from the other PEEF scholarships that fall in Outreach and Special Quota Scholarship.
Shahbaz Sharif Merit/PEEF Scholarship 2017 Eligibility Criteria
- Valid D. admission offer from one of the Top 50 (Subject Wise) Universities of the World
- (QS ranking) in preferred subject areas (www.peef.org.pk/phdscholarship.asp)
- Not less than 60% marks throughout the academic career
- Declared monthly family income (including self, spouse and parents) is equal to or less than
- 200,000/-
- Maximum age of 35 years on 31st March 2017
- Not availed any foreign scholarship in the past
- Take up the scholarship in the year for which it is offered, and the scholarship shall not be
- deferred to the next year
- All Pakistani Nationals, both males, and females are eligible to apply
Those who do not qualify for this scholarship
- Students who already have secured M.A./M.Sc. The degree does not qualify for PEEF Master Level Scholarship.
- Not availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year.
- Not a beneficiary of Prime Minister Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2016-17.

Attested Documents to be Attached
- Educational documents from Matric to onwards.
- Income Certificate duly verified by the Ilaqa Tehsildar in the case of Agriculture, Computerized salary slip in respect of serving personnel (Government/Semi- Government).
- Domicile Certificate / National Identity Card of applicant, father, and mother
- In the case of Orphan Student, Death Certificate of the father must be attached.
- Current Utility Bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water)
- Attested copy of rent agreement (if applicable)
- Copies of last & latest fee receipts of self and siblings i.e. brothers, sisters
- Copies of Medical bills, related documents and expenditure incurred more than Rs.2000/P.M
- Proof of previous scholarship(s) attained (if applicable)
- Statement of purpose & three passport size Photographs
