Fakhar Zaman, the ICC ranked top Pakistani batsman and probably the most appraised batsman this time in Pakistan, has scored first ever double ton for Pakistan against Zimbabwe. Playing a fourth ODI against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo on Friday, the Pakistani openers achieved two records. The openers Fakhar Zaman and Inam ul Haq have created a new highest opening partnership world record of 304 surpassing the existing record of Tharanga and Jayasuriya of 286 against Sri Lanka.
The Pakistani openers Fakhar Zaman has also scored first ever double century in ODI match and surpassed the existing highest ODI score of Saeed Anwar 194 by any Pakistani batsman. It took only 19 ODI matches to Fakhar Zaman to achieve this milestone at the early age of his cricket career that is, of course, a wonderful achievement by this 28 years old Pakistani cricketer.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and opted to bat in the fourth ODI. The visitors have dominated the series, bowling Zimbabwe out for 67 on Wednesday to clinch an unassailable 3-0 lead.
