Pakistan Cricket is known for introducing extraordinary fast bowlers in every era, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Aquib Javed, Shoaib Akhtar Mohammad Amir are examples of it. Pakistan has recently discovered a young talented fast bowler Mohammad Abbas who is proving his iron in every part of the world. A few days back he made a significant impact in county cricket and bowled some incredible spells. After his fantastic bowling at county cricket, he joined Pakistan cricket team for series against Australia where he destroyed Australian team single-handedly.
The Australian Batsmen looked helpless while facing Mohammad Abbas. M. Abbas has it all he bowls deadly Yorkers, seaming inswing and outswing deliveries. His inswings are mortal and are a nightmare for the batsmen.
Abbas performed superbly against Australia as he took 17 wickets in two test matches. He made 10 wickets in the second match and was named man of the match and for his overall performance in the series he was the undisputed man of the series.
After his amazing performances, he reached the 3rd spot in test cricket as per latest rankings of ICC.
It is worth mentioning here it’s not only the two tests which brought him to this place, so far he has played 10 test matches and he already has taken 59 wickets in only ten matches with an average of 15.64 and this is a world record itself as this is the best career average for any bowler who claimed more than 50 test wickets in the last 122 years of cricket.
Cricket experts and players from all over the world are praising this young talent as Dale Stane tweeted “I see a new No.1 test bowler coming … Muhammad Abbas”.
After 2006 Muhammad Abbas became the first Pakistani fast bowler to claim 10 wickets in a test match. Within ten matches he has claimed two man of the series awards.
