The Muslim calendar is filled with a number of special occasions. These moments add festivity and color to the lives of the Muslims. One such moment is that of the Eid ul Fitr that falls on the first of shawal. It is the festive feast that comes after the completion of the 30 days of the sacred month of fasting and that is the Ramazan.
Shawal is the 10th month of the lunar calendar. The very first day of the month is celebration and festivity. After the completion of the 29 or the 30 fasts, the Muslims are blessed with the festivity of the Eid ul Fitr. This shows that how happy the Muslims are to see get the blessings of Allah after the pious days of their fasts and prayers. The month of Ramazan inculcates the taqwa that is the most liked trait by the Almighty amongst His creations. The Eid ul fit is a tribute and honor for those pious souls who have not just refrained from eating but also from the habits not appreciated by the Almighty.
The government of Pakistan usually gives three holidays on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr. Before the day comes the people start preparing for the festivity. It is because of this that the dates of holidays are announced much before the moment. The government has announced the Eid holidays already by looking at the tentative calendar. The confirmed dates are usually announced in the mid-Ramazan. The current dates for the Eid holidays are from 5th to 7th June 2019.
