The United Development Program (UNDP) has announced to reserved $30 million for Pakistan Government’s program known as ‘Kamayab Jawan Program.’ This program is for the youth of Pakistan to empower them so that they can have a good future. The program aim is to create one million job opportunities through small and medium-sized enterprise sector to empower youth.
This announcement made in a meeting between the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and UNDP officials. PM Imran appreciated this special effort by UNDP for Youth of Pakistan. The chairperson of Prime Minister’s Youth programme Usman Dar was also present in the meeting. In the meeting, the UNDP officials said that UNDP had extended its support to the Kamayab Jawan Program and we assured you that 0.2 million youth of Pakistan will be assisted through these funds.
Prime Minister thanked the officials of UNDP for supporting this program. He said that our youth has immense talents and all they need is an opportunity to show their talent. He further said that the government would make every possible effort to mainstream the marginalized the youth empowerment initiatives of the UNDP. Usman Dar was declared as the chairman of the program during the meeting.
He said that the government is working to transform the lives of the youth of Pakistan by creating a lot of job opportunities. He said that Youth Affair department would find the topmost business ventures in the local and international market. In the end, he said that PM’s Youth Affairs would extend its support to improve technical and vocational training to youth.
