To meet the growing demands of domestic air travel in Pakistan, Air Indus is now in business after receiving clearance from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Air Indus Boeing 737 will be arriving at the Jinnah International Airport Karachi shortly to launch its inaugural flight with a fresh and unique style. Air Indus is a private airline of Pakistan with its headquarters based in Karachi. It is proposing to serve over 14 domestic destinations with plans to extend its network to international destinations covering Asia, Europe and North America.
Air Indus will establish its hub in Karachi at Jinnah International Airport with focus cities at Islamabad at Benazir Bhutto International Airport and Lahore at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Air Indus has now acquired three Boeing 737-300 aircraft and will be commencing operations as soon as all requirements of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority completed. Air Indus incorporated as a Private Limited Company in 2010 and in 2011, the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan granted it. The airline establishes an infrastructure, and is in negotiations with several companies to lease as well as purchase of the aircraft. Air Indus made its proving flight airborne on 19 July 2013.
Now Air Indus Launched in Pakistan Starting Flight Operations from 28 July 2013. Recently the long delayed launch of Air Indus has finally come to the launching point. Air Indus Airlines is a new low cost Pakistani Airline that will be starting operations on domestic basis and expected to expand its operations on international basis as well with a slogan of Fly with Difference. Air Indus has announced to begin its flight operations from Sunday 28 July 2013 when the 1st flight of Air Indus will operate under Flight No. I60203 operating from Karachi to Lahore.

To depart from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi at 18:30 PST and will arrive at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore at 20:15 having standard flight duration of 01:45 minutes.
The airline announced about the confirmation of operations in Pakistan via this press release on its website on July 15 in Karachi: Air Indus is pleased to announce the issuance of the AOC by Pakistan’s Civil Aviation authority (CAA). The nationwide flights will commence shortly, connecting Karachi to not only the major Airports of Pakistan but also the social economic routes on the daily basis with young western built Boeing 737 aircrafts. Initially Air Indus has a total of Three Aircraft’s expected to increase after some time. Currently the fleet of Air Indus Features 2 Boeing 737-300′s and 1 Boeing 737-301.
The aircraft’s have a seating capacity of 148 Passengers with all economy class layouts.
