Many Pakistani TV and Film superstars are making their way to Bollywood recently. But she is the one who has been continuously amazing everyone in the drama and film industry of Pakistan. She disappears from the screen and suddenly comes up looking younger, more beautiful and more powerfully.
She is Mahnoor Baloch and she has been giving surprises to everyone in the age of 42. She looks as young as any of the Lollywood superstars and now she is in here with another huge surprise. She did not opt to head to Bollywood like many Pakistani superstars did.
She headed for the Hollywood directly. Yes you read it correct. Name of the movie she is starring in is “Torn”. She is appearing with famous Pakistani-American actor Faran Tahir who has worked in a number of Hollywood movies such as Star Trek, Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book and Iron Man.
The storyline that is revealed by the trailer shows that a shopping mall is blasted away and two families get together as both of them lost their children in this very incident.
Later it is discovered that son of Pakistani family (Mahnoor Baloch’s son) is involved in these blasts. Both families face a lot of pressure and tough time after this. The storyline has much to do with Pakistanis and their involvement in 9/11 incident. It might happen that Pakistani people do not like the script and storyline due to negative impression of Pakistanis in the movie, but hey the movie is not yet released and no one knows for sure what the movie has for all of us. May be the ending helps improve the negative impression of Pakistanis, no one knows for sure yet.
So stay tuned and wait for the movie. Once it is released then it can be decided whether the movie is anti-Pakistan or it isn’t.
