Geo network and Tarang have collaborated to re-make six Pakistani Classics. They entitle it ‘’Tarang Housefull’’. These six super-duper hits are, “Armaan”, Dewar Bhabi”, Dil Mera Dharkan Teri” “Abhi to Main Jawan Hoon”, “Aaina” and “Anjuman”.
The selected films are transformed according to the modern needs and demands of time.The patterns of these classics are a little twisted and turned to make sure they are in line with the present necessities of the cinema. Camera, Sound, Direction, Editing, Television craftsmanship even every thing is modernized to fulfill the global demands. Imran Aslam from Geo television network said that Geo along with Tarang aim to re-establish Pakistan Film Industry. Their ambition is to rock Pakistani cinemas and draw attention of the Pakistani audience towards our national talent.
“Aarman” is the first movie in Tarang Housefull Project, it was the legend “Waheed Murad”’s first movie. Zeba, Rozena and Nirala were his co-artists. “Dewar Bhabi” comes second in the project, Saima, Saud have acted in this remake. At number third, comes” Abhi o Main Jawan Hoon”. The song is brilliantly performed by Atika Odho, Bushra Ansari and Saba Hameed. Next comes “Dil mera Dharkan Teri” the gorgeous Sanam Saeed is performing in it. “Anjuman” comes at number sixth. Hot favorite “Shaan” is its director and actor, Humaima Malik is his co-actor.
The use of modern orchestra and guitars has renewed well-known song “Ko-Ko-Korena”. Similarly, the use of modern stereo system has renovated all the evergreen songs from these movies like ‘’Abhi to main Jawan hoon, “Kia hia jo pyar to”, “Hip Hip Hurray”, “Yeh kaghazi Phool jesy chehry” etc.
It is a good omen to renovate such unforgettable hits from Pakistani Cinema, we hope that this hard work would let Pakistani cinema enter into a new golden era of its success!
