As Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s Azadi March is getting near, Federal Government has started to block Islamabad to stop the participants of Azadi March in Islamabad.
In Federal Capital Islamabad, Police is present in huge numbers and they have started to seal the city by putting in containers.
According to news sources, Police have been brought into Islamabad from all over Punjab and even reserve Police from Azad Kashmir has also been called upon.
All entry and exit points of the city are being sealed and for this purpose, Islamabad Police has taken into custody more than 400 containers. Rawalpindi Police has also been busy with container business and till yet they have taken into custody more than 450 containers.
This is not all but Islamabad Administration has shut down the operation of majority of the petrol pumps and it is creating trouble for people living in Islamabad.
Inspector General Islamabad has called a high level meeting so that strategy of action for the coming few days could be formulized and any unpleasant situation can be handled properly.
Government said repeatedly that they have no threat from Azadi March, but looking at all this chaos that Federal Administration is going through, it seems that federal government indeed is afraid of the Azadi March. Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif called upon the JUI delegation led by Siraj Ul Haq twice today. It shows that they are highly concerned and feeling uncomfortable by the Azadi March.
