Member of Pakistan International Cricket team, Nasir Jamshed wedding took place on 6th of September 2014. He started the new innings of his life with a British girl. He is determined to play this innings as fine as his professional innings. Aggressive opening batsman Nasir Jamshed started this journey with Pakistani-British girl Samara Afzal. Nasir Jamshed is 24-years old and he has represented Pakistan in 43 ODI and 18 T20 matches.
Not only Nasir Jamshed was happy but the parents of Nasir Jamshed are also very happy that finally their son is starting a new life. Nasir Jamshed and Samara Afzal had their Nikkah ceremony carried out in Birmingham last month on 23rd of August 2014. Samara Afzal is doctor by profession while this is a love marriage between the couple.
The wedding however took place in Lahore but due to heavy rains in Lahore, it was difficult for many national team players to join the wedding. Only captain Misbah Ul Haq and Azhar Ali were able to come to the wedding and thus the wedding was not the way Nasir Jamshed and his parents would have wanted it to be.
The most important thing is now that both Nasir and Samara lead a happy life with each other and be an exemplary couple. This trend of Pakistani Cricketers marrying women from other countries is rather new and former cricketers like Imran Khan and Wasim Akram have also tried their luck with foreign women. Now Nasir Jamshed has joined the ranks as well. Imran Khan divorced his wife Jamima Khan while Wasim Akram currently is having a good time with his wife Shaneria Akram.
