Recent jolts of earthquakes in Pakistan and Afghanistan left hundreds of people dead and thousands of injured. In the same month in 2005, a terrible earthquake in northern areas of Pakistan resulted in the deaths of 80,000 people and 3.5 million people became homeless in their own country. Yesterday earthquake in Pakistan and Afghanistan has left 300 people dead in which over two hundred are from Pakistan and also over 1,500 hundreds people in Pakistan got injured as well.
Hundreds of people are still missing in several parts of Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. To assists the people to find their beloved ones and help others to find their beloved ones, the giant technology company Google has launched a service by the name of “Google Person Finder” for South Asia Earthquake.
Google Personal Finder is a web based service that consists upon two sections that are: “I’m looking for someone” and “I have information about someone”. Those who are looking for someone can track the missing person information from I’m looking for someone.

Enter the name of the person you are looking for and press search for this person
You will be provided with the detail of that person. Currently there is record of over 200 people. Contribution by other people is very important to give the record of persons who have information about someone.

Enter the name of person and his family name and click on provide information about this person. It will be added in the record of Google Person Finder.
Note: If you have any information about person effected in recent earthquake then add it in Google Person Finder as it will assist the other people in finding their missing relatives and friends.
