The renowned Pakistani actor and rising star of Bollywood, Fawad Khan has stated that he is planning to invite the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan to visit his hometown Peshawar Pakistan. This will be a gift by Fawad Khan for his fans. Fawad Khan was present in a Billion Tree Tsunami event in Peshawar where he told Images, “Shahrukh Khan is a good friend. I’ll invite him to visit his hometown Peshawar.”
Fawad Khan visited the Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Peshawar for Tree Plantation where ceremony where he expressed his views of inviting Shahrukh Khan. On March 19, 2010, The Times of India stated that Shah Rukh Khan’s father, Meer Taj Mohammed was from Peshawar. He was born in the Shah Wali Qatall area of Peshawar’s popular Qissa Khwani Bazaar. Shah Rukh’s father’s entire paternal family continues to live.
Speakign at the ceremony, Fawad Khan stated, “The legacy of Shaukat Khanum Hospital has made us all very proud.” Expressing his views over the Shaukat Khanum fundraising, “I’ve been participating in the fundraising campaigns for Shaukat Khanum Hospital since my childhood.” He also thanked the audience for a memorable welcome at the hospital.
The Khoobsurat leading actor has enjoyed a great time at the ceremony where he expressed his views openly. Although he visited the city first time and said, “Peshawar is a peaceful and historic city that people must visit.” The actor expressed he wish to learn Pashto besides the fact he is a Pakhtun but can’t speak Pashto.
