Asian Viewers Television Awards announced HUM TV the Urdu Channel of the Year 2015. It made the HUM TV the number one Urdu channel in Pakistan. HUM TV started its entertainment history from January 17, 2005. In 9 years of service to its viewers, HUM TV has provided lot of top rated and award winning dramas.
At present four channels are working under HUM TV that are: UM Sitaray, HUM Masala, Style 360 and HUM FM.
In 2014, HUM stepped in the film industry from the movie Na Maloom Afraad that was proved as the great experience for the HUM TV. The movies received the Best Film Award, Best Film Director Award and Best Film Actor Award 2015 at the 14th Lux Style Awards 2015.
The journey not ended in 2014. In 2015, it came with Bin Roye, another super hit movie of Pakistani film industry that was released in over 81 cinemas of the India in addition to Pakistani cinemas.
Since March 2013, HUM TV is holding its own award ceremony under the name of HUM Awards. HUM Awards was among those channels that promotes the culture of Telefilms in Pakistan.
