After Pakistan vs. Sri lanka match schedule Shahryar Khan Pakistan’s cricket chief on Sunday said that Pakistan is about to arrange Bilateral Test Tour with India in the United Arab Emirates right after eight years in December.
According to the MOU issued and signed by the boards of the two countries the teams will play five series in the coming eight years. So, this Pak vs. India tour will comprise of following series:
- Three Tests
- Five ODI
- Two Twenty20
After meeting on Sunday in Kolkata with the Indian Cricket Chief Jagmohan Dalmiya the chairman of Indian Cricket Boards he also said that the two countries wish to resume the series in the United Arab Emirates.He also claimed that preparations are at their peak in this regard and his crew in trying its hard to eradicate all the possible hurdles in their way.There was a tense scenario from the Indian end because of their political conditions making it reluctant to have series in 2007, but there was an interaction between two teams in multinational events like Champion Trophy and World Cup.
Dalmiya also gave his positive statement that he got the green signal from the Indian Government and he is quite hopeful about reviving the series.He told that there are some shortcoming and things related to federal government need some more attention as without their approval its quite difficult to manage all this.Indian Board of Control for Cricket is also desirable to take this step further and having interaction between the two teams.The boards of both the team will be in contact with each other to have maximum possible outputs.
After March 2009, a very sad incident in Lahore when Srilankan team attacked by the militants no test team visited Pakistan after that incident.Hopefully, these steps will decrease the tension between the two countries up to some extent as both the nations are fond of cricket and public of both the countries will very much like to have cricket match in between their teams.These series will also hopefully improve the international impression of both the countries in front of the world.Meanwhile, public will also get some interesting event to enjoy and to appraise their favourite players.
