Recently upheld proposal of Council of Islamic Ideology sparked outrage, and why it shouldn’t be as it is seeking to permit husbands to ‘lightly beat’ their wives if they defy.
Rather than accepting it with a smile on their faces, this time Pakistani women have organized a social campaign ‘Try Beating Me Lightly’ that portrays that what consequences men can face if they try lightly beating formula on them. Within all this women have also told that what men can do rather than lightly beating which will be bringing harmony at their home.
