After the successful launching of Travly and Uber rickshaw services in Lahore and Karachi, Careem has also launched its rickshaw service named Tezz in Lahore and Karachi.
Well, Careem has not been entered for the first time with this new service. Careen has already launched a business, economy, and WiFi cars in Lahore and Karachi and its service is doing well in both cities. Careem aimed to offer affordable and comfort rickshaw services in Lahore and Karachi.
Careem’s Tezz Prices
According to Careem, it will set the low prices as compared to Uber and Travly. Well it will decide by the customers either it is true in its claim or not. The base rate is Rs. 60 and the minimum fare will be Rs. 75.
Careem today has launched trial based services in Lahore and Karachi. It has also announced that in upcoming few years, it will expand its services to other big cities as well.
Talking to media, MD Careem Pakistan, Junaid Iqbal has said, “Rickshaws are the transport lifeline for Pakistan’s urban populace. They operate out of stands, which makes for highly inefficient dispatching. We are doing a pilot project to see how well our technology can help accentuate the incomes of rickshaw drivers and provide a more economical option for commuters, woven with the ease that our technology provides.”
Careem claimed it will not compromise the quality of services and privacy of its customers. Moreover, all captains (drivers) of Careem are bound to protect the personal information of the riders and that they don’t have any right to access the personal information of the passengers.
