Karachi based female shooter Minahil Sohail is all set to be the first female shooter to represent Pakistan at Olympics, she will be penning down the history with staging her talent at Rio Olympics 2016, which will be taking place from August 5-26 in Rio, Brazil.
Minahil Sohail, who have won several accolades and awards, is been shortlisted for the Olympics mega event by International Olympic Committee (IOC). The talented girl from Pakistan will be showcasing her talent along with the 390 other athletes from different countries. In Rio Olympics 2016, 15 events of shooting games will be held and the 22-year-old shooter have eyed to clinch gold medal for her nation.
According to the sources, the Karachi based shooter kicked off her professional career in 2012, and so far have performed at numerous events worldwide and have won awards and accolades.
Minhail Sohail in talks with media seemed quite optimistic about her performance at Rio Olympics 2016, while talking about her preparation she told”I have prepared well for Olympics and aim to win gold medal for Pakistan.”
Over her inclusion at such a mega event she told that “Participating in Olympics is like a dream come true for me, I am anxiously waiting for the event.”
On the other hand, Minahil Sohail also urged Pakistani people to motivate their children , especially daughters to exhibit their talent in sports field “Sports enhance children’s self-belief and confidence which helps them achieve their life goals.”
