2016 has just taken on the charge, and we have got the surpsring news for the moviegoers as the US based on-demand intenet streaming media Netflix have extended their servies, globally. And Pakistan is also one of the 130 countries, where Netflix have extended their services. Previously, having acces in 60 countries, Netfkux has now launched their services in around 190 countries.
This surprising announcement was made by the Co-founder and Chief Executive Netflix Reed Hastings at CES 2016.
While marking a new history and stepping out all around the globe, Hasting at the event which turned a big buzz told “Today you are witnessing the birth of a new global Internet TV network,” furthermore, the statement gets proved as the people are going crazy with stepping Netflex services and many of them on social media commented on it as saying that it might be a dream come true to have Netflix services in Pakistan.
Earlier, Netflix aimed to reach 200 countries by the end of 2016 and now no more way to achieve the 200 mark, as they are just falling 10 short of 200.
Netflix kicked off their streaming services back in 2007 and then stepped into Canada and further noving to the Latin America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, in short, before the Wednesday’s announcement by Hastings, Netflix was holding it services operational in 60 countries.
So far the Netflix’s plan to enter the China seems to be delayed, although CEO looks quite promosing to get its footsteps also in China and the other remainig countries.
