In another initiative to prevail transparency Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development has setup an online complaint system for the overseas Pakistanis, which will formally be going operational after inaugural event scheduled to be held on 10 February 2016.
In compliance of this online system the complainant can submit his/her queries or problems faced during employment or residing abroad. Further, the complaint filed can be tracked and its status can also be checked online.
The system which is soon to be pulled off is intending to provide quick justice to the Pakistani expats and to address their problems and queries. This organized system is also seen as a initiative to secure the interests of foreign employed Pakistanis.
According to the sources, Khizer Hayat Khan, Secretary, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (MoOPHRD) will officially inaugurate the online complaint system here on February 10, along with Bernard Francois, Head of Cooperation, Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan and Ms. Belinda Chanda, Officer-in-Charge, International Labour Organization Country Office for Pakistan.
The step is also taken while keeping in view the injustice and molestation overseas Pakistani faced during their foreign stay. The other thing which has been a severe threat for the Pakistani is the involvement of frauders, who victimize the Pakistanis by indulging them in human trafficking and other such crimes.
According to the reliable sources, in last five years (2011-2015) more than 3 million Pakistanis have legally proceeded abraod for employment. With such a whopping number of Pakisrani tarvelling abroad to earn livelihood, Pakistan is the second largest labour sending country after India.
The expats have always been befitting the whole nation most commonly by sending the remittances back to the country and with such huge number of Pakistani employed abroad, it means a huge benefit directly to the Pakistan.
