Frauds are not new, but the way fraudster are looting people on the internet is something new for the Pakistani internet users. In last several days, several fraud cases have been witnessed on Facebook, including the latest ones of Ali Zafar and Arijit Singh concerts fraud alert.
Here it should be told that this one is a tactic to loot people, this all happens as the fraudster makes an event page on social media sites, most commonly on Facebook and tells the people willing to join the concert to send him money via easy paisa or any other mean. In real there is not nay such concert arranged, but the party-goers gladly without confirming its authenticity get the tickets and passes, but till they know about it the ‘con-master’ have wrapped up all the means and proof to get him behind bars.
In latest incident of this type, a Lahore based boy has made an event page on Facebook, which tells that, the Colombian singer Shakira will be performing in the city on May 29th. Still know the venue isn’t revealed by the show planner, he has just asked the netizens to buy the tickets from the phone number provided.
