We all like to have maximum holidays on Eid either it is al-Fitr or al-Adha. The reason behind is that it make us able to plan better for our holidays and spend some time on other points. If vermicelli and meat are the desserts and dishes of Eids, then holidays are the real Soghat of this important day.
The Federal Government of Pakistan has issued the notification for Eid ul Adha Holidays in Pakistan. According to circular hereby issued by the Ministry of Interior, the official Public Holidays will start from Friday, 1st September 2017 to Monday 04, September 2017. The offices will resume from Tuesday 05, September, 2017.
The notification for holidays has been shared by the Federal Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal via his official Twitter account.
Federal Ministry of Interior is the prime body into Pakistan to issue the list of annual public holidays in the country. Then comes the provincial government who decide at their own grant extra holidays as per local events or special traditions.
In Federal Government area, there are chances that entire week will remain off because of four routine holidays of two each on Saturday and Sunday before and after Eid. In case of Eid on Monday, there will be only five holidays in which two will be of Saturday and Sunday before Eid and work will resume on Thursday.
Eid al-Adha is an important religious holiday celebrated in Pakistan just like other Muslim countries. It is the day that marks the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. Muslims performs Qurbani on this day. It is one of the most important events in the Muslim world.
