PCB shortlists five regions for sixth franchise in PSL 2018

The news about sixth PSL team roping in is not something new for the cricket fans. But the latest news on the matter tells that the sixth team in PSL is finally going to happen, and that too in 2018.

It will be pertinent to mention here that at first, it was said that the sixth franchise will be included in the PSL 2017, Which was played in February earlier this year.

The speculations told that the sixth team of the PSL will be named Azad Kashmir, but now the cat is out of the bag as the PCB has shortlisted the five regions, which can be purchased by the bidders as the sixth team for the third PSL season.

The shortlisting of the franchise name is done on the basis of provincial representation and domestic cricket ranking on merit.
