Pakistan cricket team’s prodigy, Babar Azam has become the cricketing sensation around the globe. His valiant performances in around all three formats of the game have left many eye balls wide open.
Seeing his brilliant attitude and consistency, the 5-Test match player is being compared with one of the most brilliant cricketer of the modern times, Virat Kohli.
Even many of the cricket enthusiast believe that it is too early to say this, but Pakistan cricket team coach Mickey Arthur doesn’t shies away from comparing Babar Azam with the Indian star.
“He’s a young gun who will be an exceptional player,” said Arthur. “I’ll go so far as to say, at the same age, I reckon, he’s as good as Virat Kohli, which I know that’s high praise but he’s right up there.”
Making a comparison between both these stars according to the same number of matches 22-years old Babar Azam seems to be a real winner.
Azam averaged 46.40 after three Test, whereas with same number of Tests Virat Kohli had just an average of 15.2.
