He decided to leave showbiz and the film industry because he wanted to become an Islamic and religious scholar for which he has also started studying. He wanted to become a better Muslim and concentrate on his faith. However, in a recent interview to Humayun Saeed by some press people revealed that Hamza Ali Abbasi was actually studying to become a scholar but along with this another shocking thing was discovered that Hamza Ali Abbasi has not left showbiz for forever; rather he sort of just went on a break and will soon return to the industry. Humayun Saeed also noted that Hamza Ali Abbasi will take different roles as compared to the roles he took in the past; his new roles will be based on the love for one’s country (patriotism) and one’s relation to his religion (spirituality).
Another fact about Hamza Ali Abbasi was revealed by Humayun Saeed that he (Hamza) will become a part of directing industry when he returns to showbiz and will stay behind the scene more and on the screen less. It was also informed to the press that Humayun Saeed was planning a nationalist movie which will be directed by Hamza Ali Abbasi. Everything about that movie is decided and just its name is left of this movie project of Humayun Saeed.
