The coronavirus that spread from China has now taken all over the world. Since this virus has been declared as a pandemic by WHO Pakistan is also on stake and on Saturday a new case has been reported in Islamabad and the figure of the COVID19 has now gone to 29. It’s the first case to be reported in Islamabad but till now Karachi is the most affected city with 24 cases. Effective measures are being taken by the government to tackle this situation
With the closure of all educational institutes in the country till April 5th, 2020. The cabinet of Sindh has also ordered to close all the educational institutions till May 30th because of the province is most affected. The Chief Minister has directed to close all wedding halls and shrines across the province until further notice. Commissioner of Sukkur has been directed by the CM to test all the pilgrims that reached the city. The government has especially asked to take all the precautionary that could be taken to avoid the disease.
The health minister Dr. Zafar Mirza in a press conference with Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has asked people not to panic rather seek help for which they have created a helpline from where you can ask all your queries and it can help you out. Especially for the people who have traveled to the country of China and Iran.
If you feel you have any symptoms that are related to the virus that includes fever cough difficulty in breathing you can call at (1166) that is available for your help. It is an official helpline set up by the government that will guide you about it and will take your medical history and asks for the symptoms you have if you are in need of the test on the recommendation of a doctor an ambulance will be sent to you for the further procedures and testing. Your household would also get checked. The results of the test usually come out within 48 hours. All the four provinces have been provided with their own helplines by the authority.
